At DJL Exotics, we’re passionate about reptiles. We specialise in captive-bred snakes and geckos, offering high-quality pets, and unique, fun and hands-on animal experiences for families.
All our reptiles are hatched and raised in our purpose-built, 5★ licensed reptile room, cared for to the highest welfare standards. Daily handling ensures they are friendly, well-adjusted, and ready to join your family. Our breeding focuses on temperament, health, and structure, often enhancing special morphs while always prioritising welfare.
Meet Our Animals
At DJL Exotics, we care for a wide variety of amazing animals, from our much-loved Dumeril’s Boa and Royal Pythons to some of our smallest residents, including millipedes and other invertebrates. Every animal has its own unique personality, and we love introducing families to them during animal experiences.
We also run small, carefully managed breeding projects for leopard geckos, corn snakes, western hognose snakes, and ball pythons. Our focus is always on health, calm temperaments, and responsible breeding, so our animals are well-started, confident, and ready to thrive in their new homes.

Visiting DJL Exotics
Our facility is home-based, so we welcome visitors by appointment only. This allows us to give you our full attention, answer all your questions, and ensure a safe, comfortable experience for both you and our reptiles. We’re always happy to help with all your enquiries.

Animal Experiences
We have several excellent animal experiences available including handling and keeper sessions. Our sessions are held between Wednesday and Saturday. During a session you may:
- Handle up to 16 species of reptiles and invertebrates
- Learn about their care and wild behaviours
- Feed and participate in enrichment training (keeper experiences)
